Early in 2024, I decided it was time to stop running my networking group and allow something new in. I started in 2016, and at my first meeting, I used oracle cards. I didn’t expect to use them again, but they ended up becoming a regular feature.
The reason I loved using them so much is that they let me see people in new ways. Networking is really about getting to know people and building trust. But there can be this hidden pressure to appear like you have everything together. Many people (myself included!) shift into performing a role instead of connecting authentically.
The oracle cards would get underneath the performance and let the heart speak. The energy in the group would change, and creative ideas would flow. After that first meeting in 2016, I remember feeling energized all day from the insights the cards revealed—and so did others who were there.
Over the years, I loved seeing people open up and connect with their inner wisdom. Each person’s insights would weave together into something more.
Here’s the thing—when you describe what you see in an oracle card, you’re really describing a little piece of yourself.
And to me, that’s always beautiful.
Oracle cards help you tap into deeper, wiser parts of yourself. Why? Because imagery and symbols are the language of the subconscious mind. When you engage with them, you’re not just reading a card—you’re uncovering what’s already within you.
And at that deeper level, something even more powerful happens.
It’s the gateway to the place where we’re all connected. Beyond our differences, beyond our quirks and wounds, there’s a space where we’re whole—where we remember who we are. And when we meet each other from that place, true connection happens.
Maybe that’s why, all these years later, I keep coming back to oracle cards. Because again and again, they reveal the deeper truth:
We are not separate. We are not alone.
We just need to remember.
